Artist Statement

Without my art I would not exist.   It is with every breath I breathe that I imagine
and I create.   I become out spoken through my art.  I am no longer quiet, shy or reserved when
expressing my creativity.   My hand exudes life and energy which is forever vibrantly driven.

Art surpasses the boundary of time and space and I am a part of that exploration.
So much art evokes universal means of expression of thought, emotions, passion and love,
which I am apart of.
My best works are of impressionistic rendering and realistic portraits.

My creative mother found me sketching in front of the television one day at the age of 8 years old.  I peeled away a cereal box to find an empty grey space inside.   I was looking at cartoons and saw the Betty-Boo character.   I began to sketch her in pencil on that space and showed it to my mom.  With her excitement about the drawing it forever began my life as a budding artist.  It became so natural for me to draw that my dad built a drafting table for me.   I drew lots of projects on that table and bonded even closer to my wonderful Dad.  He encouraged me to stick to it and make something out of it.   To this day I know that I have made my parents proud of me with becoming a fine artist.
