Picture
Jo  discovered early on in her artistic journey the excitement of design and imaginative creations.  Her style is unique and in constant motion and this motion has been a driving force for her to try new and innovative ideas.  Jo creates in watercolor, oil, acrylic, glass, and mixed media - including innovative collage.

Jo received a People's Choice Award for her first exhibit at the Vacaville Art Gallery,  Her mixed media picture, "
Send in the Clowns" was featured on a local public television station.  She was awarded "Most Inspiring Artist" and has recieved numerous awards for her work throughout Solano, Napa and Marin county.  Jo has had the privilege of being an artist for Quail Ridge Winery painting custom wine labels for collectors world wide.    "I  have a strong intuitive connection with the American Indian culture and the award winning picture, "Sun Dancer" was created by soaking handmade paper. My fingers worked the wet paper and it virtually danced; the creation of an American Indian riding a horse came alive.

"I consider myself to be a kaleidoscope of color and energy.  As you can see, my designes reflect this energy."
