Exhibit and sell your artwork at the Gallery. Commission only 20% for members.
Sell art through the LH Gallery Gift Shop
Post artwork on the LH Gallery website
Be part of a congenial group that values exchanges of ideas and friendship
Have use of the gallery for personal functions, with general membership approval
May conduct workshops
Responsibilities and Expectations
Since we are all volunteers and behave in the spirit of a coop, members agree to
Docent at the Lawler House Gallery once a month
Participate in Gallery receptions, events, activities
Produce original artwork every 3 months for new shows
Participate in Committees to help run the gallery in a cooperative fashion
Must have active email for organizational communications
Lawler House Gallery Admission Process
1. Download application and send this and digital images or website information by email any time. Please note , however, that the admission process happens only once a year in May.
2. Have an interview with the new membership committee (usually 4-5 members)
3. Also bring representative artwork for viewing as digital images sometime don't do justice to the artwork.
An important consideration for all applicants is that the Gallery has limited wall space. We therefore are limiting our membership to 35 artists. We strive to have a wide range of diversified artwork and may need to limit those applicants whose media are already well represented in the gallery
